Sharing My Heart With Yours
Oh The Sight!
The peaks loom high above,
Oh the splendor and might that they show.
Leaving us small creatures feeling like ants,
And even then the ants are better than we;
Carrying up to 5 times their own strength,
Us mere mortals can't do that.
We don't loom over anything spectacular like the mighty mountains.
The mere sight of the mountains brings a feeling
Of majesty and awe,
And yet God gave us the authority to tell the mountain;
"Get up and move",
"If we have faith just as small as a mustard seed".
What a sight that would be!
Picking up the mountain with just a few words!
The sight of the trees covered in winter's silvery glory,
The branches drooping low,
The sticky snow dripping ever so slowly,
Making a small puddle at the base of the tree.
That puddle makes a drink for those who need it most.
Everything has a place and everything in its place.
Just like us humans.
We will one day be called 'home',
What a sight that will be!
To go home to a place of paradise and praise,
No more pain and suffering.
He will wipe away all our tears,
Oh the sight when the trumpet blows.
And all God's children are called away,
For those who don't know;
It will be a sight to match all sights ever seen.
Christ the Lord sitting at the right hand of God,
Descending on a cloud.
The exact same way He ascended over thousands of years ago.
What a sight that will be!
Oh until the day comes,
Anticipation will stir in every bone of those who wait.
Oh what a sight that day will be!
