This song is about how I could not see the bigger picture of my life and how sin (the bad things you do) always seemed victorious instead of God. It is about my need to turn to Christ in my weakness and even in my strength.

I wrote this at Bible College when I was feeling like I had no where else to turn. I knew it was time to stop trying to fight God and just go to Him for His comfort and guidance. The chorus talks about the battle and the war, the battle is avoiding things that I need to confront. The war is the bigger picture of the battle.​​

​This song continues to show me of God's love for me. I am still trying to grasp just how big God's love is. Some days I see His love more in my life than in other days, but that doesn't mean that it's not there. I surrender to His love and accept the free gift that He has offered to me.
